These pictures are representative of, and
verify what we previously reported regarding the problem which we had with Shoprite
and the chicken breast which we purchased there. To be fair we have to say
that Shoprite did not place the weight label on the product.
The poultry supplier was responsible for that act and for placing a label
with the incorrect weight of the product. However Shoprite, under Suffolk County Consumer Law,
is still required to verify and certify that the product which they are selling is
being sold with the correct weight stated upon the label even if they did not
place the label on the product! On this page also are pictures of the letter which was sent to us along with the gift card and the certified mail envelope in which they arrived. |
